BUT after 10 years of going the usual way that everyone has been conditioned to go when publishing their books, I found out that I want to play my own game in a field where I have more leverage to win and this is what gave birth to the Anti-Amazon Book To Cash System that I will be showing you in this guide. Step 1: Find A Profitable Niche And A Market That Have A Pressing Need Using Real Time Book Sales Data

The first step in our Anti-Amazon book to cash system is to find a profitable niche that has a growing and hungry market of people who have a serious problem and in need of an urgent solution.

 

Think about the times you bought any non-fiction book, chances are you bought it to solve a problem you have.

 

And that’s it! Proper only but non-fiction books to solve a particular problem and before writing any book, you will give yourself a better chance of succeeding in selling a lot of books when you write a book that solves problems that a lot of people need a solution for.

 

When I started using this system in July 2023, my go-to strategy to figure out the best profitable niche is to just make assumptions of niches I believed people have a pressing need of a solution for and it was a trial and error things that helped me waste a lot of my time and energy writing books that didn’t sell.

 

Over time, I realised I am better off using real time book sales data to make a better judgement on data instead of relying on my thinking and assumptions.

Now you may ask if anyone is buying Spanish or other non-English books. And I will tell you most months, my Spanish books are selling more than my English books! And that has been an eye-opener for me I must say.

 

This means, I can write a book in English and then translate it into more languages and that means I can make money from that compared to just having the English books.

 

This isn’t about books alone. I have a YouTube channel where I now dub my videos into Spanish and Russian languages and those video outperform the English ones in many cases. Think of it this way.

 

There are millions of English books competing for spaces and visibility on all book platforms, but I can bet there are only few books who are in other languages on those platforms which means the competition is very low for books that are not in English.

Really, apart from translating books to other languages, one smart way to make more money from your book is to distribute it to as many places you can reach your book readers and in as many formats they love to buy books.

 

Let me explain.

 

Since writing my first book in 2012 till June 2023, all I do when I have a book to publish and even for my author client is to publish them on Amazon as a Kindle ebook and as a paperback.

 

And then I or the author will go back home to hope and pray to sell a lot of books And in most cases and times, that just doesn’t happen.

 

And here is why.

 

One, the competition is too high on Amazon for books and except you have a big following or audience online or you are ready to spend a lot of money on Amazon ads, you are not likely to make a living from writing and selling books primarily on Amazon.

 

And to make things worse, some authors will trade their book’s broadband visibility and reach for Amazon KDP unlimited’s exclusivity all in exchange for just 5 days in 90 days to make their books free and attract tons of freebie seeker who doesn’t really need their books in the first place.

 

At first, this might seem like a better option when the share of the book market that Amazon controls is taken into account.

 

But deep down, it’s a losing strategy as it not only limits authors and anyone who publish books to not been able to reach more book readers that are hanging out elsewhere outside of Amazon but also gives many authors and publisher a false sense of number knowing the numbers of download that is gotten from this are mostly people who won’t ever read their books or even remember downloading them.
